This is a polyclinic for general medicine. It is 65 km south of Lima (Peru) and is surrounded by three mineral springs. Their names are: La Milagrosa, La Mellicera und La Encantada.

La Milagrosa (Native Indian: Qoricocha – The Golden Spring)

The mud of this spring contains a high quality mineral substance which is therapeutically used for the cleansing of body, spirit and soul. The mineral substance contains calcium carbonate, sulfates and other mineral compounds. The extracted mud is used in different qualities.
Black, red, green and white mud is used for illnesses and is applied especially in the fields of dermatology and osteopathy. Here they exert above all a beneficial influence on all rheumatic disorders (e.g. rheumatism, polyarthritis, arthrosis and chronic arteriosclerosis).
